Continuation
Three Years Later...
(Nora moved in with Kristina and Krogstad when she left Torvald for a little while, until she could afford something for herself. She started finding herself by just walking the streets where she came across this candy shop, and like Nora she craved a macaroon candy, she walked in and was offered a job there. She worked and saved up all her money to buy her own place. Soon after she was able to afford a small place. She found she could do whatever she wanted without anyone yelling at her or calling her a skylark or an air head which she realized is extremely annoying and didn't want to ever be treated like that. Nora grew up during this time and became a woman.)
(Nora visits Kristina)
Nora: (talking to Kristina) I really do love being alone, i get to be independent which makes me feel strong on my own two feet. I cant believe i allowed someone - even my father to treat me like that! Well its not Papa's fault he was only trying to protect me and it's not like i knew any different. Oh Kristina I found myself!
Kirstina: Nora my friend I'm glad that you've found yourself and your happy and all but don't you miss that one person in your life that loved you and was always there for you? don't you miss Torvald a little ; or that companionship with a man? when my husband died and i was alone it gave me such an emptiness inside.
Nora: Yes Kristina of course i miss Torvald being my husband but i dont miss him as a person. i fell out of love with him because he didn't treat me as an equal, he never thought in ten thousand years that I'd, me, a woman would borrow money and then save a life. oh and on that note he never realized that i borrowed that money to save his life! But that all behind us now right? Kristina i don't want to talk about me. Ive found myself and maybe someone will come along thatll treat me how i want to be treated, as a strong independent woman not some scampering little squirrel! but I'm dont worry about that; oh do tell me how you and Krogstad are?
Kristina: i couldn't say Ive been happier, he truly is the one- that missing piece in my puzzle. we work hard to keep everything in order around the house. (door bell rings) oh i didn't know i was to have more visitors, Nora would you please go open the door for me- I'm not sure who it would be.
(Nora goes to open the door, when its finally open she looks up to see who the visitor is. Its Torvald.... either of them speak.)
Kristina: (yelling) Who's come to visit?
Nora: it's uhmmm..... Torvald!
Torvald:(soft gentle voice) Nora
Nora: hi Torvald
Torvald: can you step outside- i wanna just have a moment with you.
Kisrina: (yelling) yes she'll join you outside!
(Nora takes in a deep breath and steps outside)
Torvald: Nora darling- Ive been going over and over what to say to you for the past three years. and well its that my life, and the kids life; its been falling apart!
Nora: And....
Torvald: sweetheart, ill change ill be the man you want me to be because your the only one for me. (starts signing) Cause you're the apple to my pie
You're the straw to my berry
And you're the one I wanna marry
Cause your the one for me
And I'm the one for you
U take the both of us
And were the perfect two
Were the perfect two
Baby me and you
We're the perfect two
(gets down on one knee) Nora I'm in love with you form the day i layed eyes on you to this day. you know this is real just as much as me; your new life can become our new life. we can make this work together. Nora- will you marry me?
Nora: Torvald i love you so much, your the only man that id spend my life with. but i have a new life, new ways and views- like you said we were meant for each other! Yes Torvald ill marry you!
:) happily ever after!

LOVE
Hey readers! To just get to the point, Mrs. Linde (aka Kristina) and Krogstad were once a long time ago a thing, and she left him for a man that had money already. When they finally talk about it she kind of tricks him to fall back inlove with her and now there a thing again. We call a man thats so inlove with a woman to be whipped, which is how i see him, but at the same point everyone needs that special one and he just shows it how he feels. Most guys aren't like that, wait let me refrase that all men are the exact opposite of Krogstad! what do you think about love and the "love" between Kristina and Krogstad?
Act II ; sneaky sneaky little Nora
Is there something between Dr. Rank and Nora? during act II, Nora and Dr. Rank have a conversation alone. She shows him her skin tone stockings, which was not exactly proper from a woman to wear in this time period. As i was reading the two talk to each other the mental picture I got was Nora kind of not throwing herself to him but teasing him in a sense. I honestly think Nora has or had a thing for Dr. Rank but is inlove with her husband. What i dont understand is why does Nora react to when he tells her that he'd gladly give his life for her?
Later that night Nora and Torvald practice the tarantella, for the holiday party their attending the next night. She made him promise to stay away from all work for the night, to just focous on her, for Krogstads letter is still in the mailbox. Nora doesnt want her husband to know about her borrowing money and forging the signiture but if she continues this fake act, she'll lie til her she lays in her death bed. It'll always be on her mind and she'll never be at ease with herself. I think that she's extremly smart and knows how to get mostly what she wants but this changes my mind about her, I want her to woman up and tell her husband like a responsible adult what she has done, but she wont and now I have a better understanding of how she really is.

Act I !!! :)
I’ve decided that A Doll’s House is my favorite piece of literature that I’ve read in my sophomore year. From only reading the first act I got the whole feeling of the characters and really connected with the story. The characters are a lot like everyday people, for example Krogstad created a crime and is now trying to come back into society and not be looked upon in a bad way. Many people have created crimes in life and ask for forgiveness because they made a mistake. Many of the other characters play a role where they portray our society, which is because that’s how people actually are, even back in the 1800s when this was written.
In my last post I told you I’d keep you updated on the play. Therefore, Nora gets herself into a huge mess because as she tried to help a friend, but she’s being hold back by someone that can control her like a puppet, Krogstad. This is the man that she borrowed money from, who has the papers with Nora’s father’s forged signature on. I mentioned that Krogstad got into trouble with the law, which was that he forged a signature on documents. To warn her, Krogstad says, “You better tell your husband not to replace me, for you are the one to pay for it”. Was its wrong for Nora to borrow money and forged her almost dead father’s signature to help her ill husband become healthy again? Would you take a legal risk to help a loved one become better again? Most likely I certainly would!!!! And truthfully tell me, if you got in trouble with the law but your making your way back, would you blackmail someone else that made the same mistake as you????

homework- 5/15/2011
For my sophomore English class last piece of writing for the year, we're reading the play A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen. The play is about a woman named Nora who is married to Trovald, and the story displays how he treats her like a child and not a wife.throughout the story, Nora borrows money from a man named Krogstad, which causes problems later on in the future of Nora and Trovald. Problems begin to erupt between the two and causes a major out come in the end. a quote that i found in the play and really liked, "A person can’t be happy when falling into the mold of someone else. To be happy, one must be oneself and know oneself. Since all of Nora’s life, she followed right behind her father and her husband, she did not know herself and had to leave to learn " (tripod.com).But i don't want to ruin the story so to know the rest read the play or wait for future post to be updated.
Since we know something about the play, what about the author? Henrik Ibsen was born on 1828 in Skien, Norway. He's a man who cherished the theatre his whole life. At age twenty-one he didn't care to be come a playwritter or pursue journalism since he was out of college. Still he continued to write and worked at National Theater in Bergen where he learned about show business and found his passion in the theatre. He began writing many plays, which the one we're reading is A Doll's house. Later in his life Henrik suffered many strokes and pass away at the age of seventy-eight.
